Problem with tuplet input
I can't seem to put in a triplet and fit 3 eight notes in it, it says in the handbook https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/tuplets that you can fit eighth notes, but mine keeps appearing as sixteenths.. why?

A regular triplet places 3 notes of a certain duration into the space normally taken by 2 note of that duration. So you need a quarter duration (2 8th) to create a triplet of 8th notes. If you take an 8th duration (2 16th) as the basis of a triplet, you get 3 16th.
If you really want to squeeze 3 8th into the space of a single 8th, you need a custom tuplet using a 3:1 relationship
