Softer Fortepiano (Dynamics)

Is there musical notation for sudden changes in dynamic (like fortepiano) starting below forte?
I.E. mezzo-piano to pianissimo?

I know adjusting velocity can make it sound correct, but I want to convey the message visually.

When the current dynamic is pp and you insert an fz, with no other clues to change the dynamic, this is often interpreted as essentially mp-pp. You would need to adjust the settings in the inspector to make it sound this way for playback.
