Customizing the Pallet
I looked at the online Get Help section for help with moving symbols from the Master Pallet to the regular pallet. Directions said to drag the symbol to move it to the regular pallet, but when I tried this, it didn't work. Any suggestions? I'd really like to move many of the symbols from the Master Pallet to the regular pallet, but I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks for your help.

But first - are you talking about the "Symbols" palette specifically? If so, then yes, this is the way to do it. But if you're trying to add articulations, etc, then probably you actually just need to switch to the "Advanced" workspace, which has practically everything from the master palette already.

Thank you so much for your help! I switched to the Advanced workspace and all the symbols I need can now be easily used. One more huge step forward in learning about this new updated program!

Great! FWIw, this isn't new, there was Basic and Advanced in MuseScore 2 also. Maybe you changed it so long ago you forgot...

That could very well be! I've been using MuseScore 2 for several years now, and as for my memory, well . . . . :-)
