Can't make "D C al coda" work, for a change [fixed/doc deficiency?]
This mechanism has never, ever worked properly without swearing and a visit to the doctor. Can you tell me why my score (attached) does not go to the coda at "to coda" in m 7 after coming back from "DC al Coda" in m 60? "Play repeats" is enabled in the app.
The quickest way to see it fail is to navigate to m 59 or so and play, watch it go back, play 7 mm and fail to jump.
It never, ever works correctly without coaxing and swearing. TIA.

I see. "Never use a repeat-double-bar at the place where you say 'Da capo al coda' ". That fixed it -- the documentation ought to say THAT (what kind of barlines are acceptable at jumps and labels) and that "maybe the reason it doesn't work is that you have the repeat icon in the app toolbar turned off". Both would have saved me an hour.

I added a "See also" link to the bottom of the barlines page referring to the repeats and jumps page that very clearly says you must have the play repeats button pressed for repeats to play.

Adjusted the handbook to repeat the link to the play repeats button at the Jumps subheading.
Plays excatly like that for me, plays twice up to the :|, then a 3rd time up to the To Coda, then the Coda.
Of course it does not when 'Play Repeats' is disabled though. But in the initial post you claimed to have it set to on...

I see. All understood now. Big red "lark's vomit warning" (python term) about interaction of DC's and repeat barlines needed. (i didn't realize that the reason it wasn't playing was the repeats were disabled). I removed the score for IP reasons. Thanks.
