MAKE MORE CONCERT PERCUSSION SOUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, I am a composer and I've noticed there is a very limited amount of concert percussion sounds. Some sounds that should be added are, Tam-tam/gong regular hit/roll along with bowed and with chain (It plays the Chinese Cymbal sound, which is very different), different cymbal sounds/timbres (like bowed, scraped, MALLETS ESPECIALLY! FOR ROLLS), Slapstick, Etc. THIS WOULD BE SUPER HELPFUL, Thanks!

MuseScore's default soundfont uses the General MIDI standard which defines a fairly limited set of sounds, but you are welcome to search the web for a soundfont that contains whatever sounds you prefer, and install that as described in the Handbook under "Soundfonts"

The tam-tam sound is indeed very frustrating, I searched lots of those sfz files of tam-tam but non of them can produce a satisfying timbre. There's indeed a soundfont named Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra which produces great tam-tam sounds but: a) the tam-tam sound is mis-identified as the sound of cymbal; b) the whole playback is just horrible, the music is cut off at every note. So it's probably not very easy to find a playable good tam-tam sound :(
