Use of SATB Closed score and Mixer
To rehearse songs in our choir we use MuseScore, and to save printed paper on simple songs I want to use SATB close score. As I can understand I shall then use voice 1 for soprano and tenor and voice 2 for alto and bass. So I have. See attachment Fig.1
In the mixer I see that we can expand the staff Women to Soprano and Alto and Men to Tenor and Bass.
See attachment Fig.2 (marked green)
But when I try to mute single voices the Alto and Bass is "empty", and Soprano and Tenor have two voices each. I can switch these on/off with Mute Voices (marked yellow), but then it is not possible to change volum on these single voices.
How shall I write the song so that we can use the mixer for all the individual voices.
Alternatively I must use full score with four lines, but it shouldn't be necessary for the small songs.

You needed add a staff text to either staff and via its properties switch voice 1 and 3 to soprano/tenor and, more important, voice 2 and 4 to Alto/Bass. You can make that staff text invisible.

Thank you for your quick reply. This did not explain itself, put you put me on the right path;
Select a note or rest on the staff, press Ctrl+T, give it a name. Then right-click on this text and select properties.
So far so good, but how to make the text invisible?
