Span a chord across staves
Hi,
I am trying to do this by following https://musescore.org/en/node/8717. This works if the stem of the lowest note is invisible (chord.1.png), but I actually want to see the stem of the lowest note connecting to the beam. If I make the stem of the lowest note visible, this in theory should work, but the problem is that the distance between the staves is automatically increased (chord.2.png). Is there a way to not automatically increase the distance of the staves?
Thanks!

Cross staff notation does not work for partial chords in MuseScore, see also #110611: Split chord across staves. The workaround you're using would probably require to disable autoplace for those trick notes' stems.
That howto works for MuseScore 1 and 2, but would need to get revisited and adjusted to MuseScore 3.
I've done that just now

Disabling automatic placement of the stems worked. Thanks!
