I just want one rest for two parts
Hi, I want my score to look like the bottom image, but it is looking like the top image since i added two parts. I only want one rest to be shared between the two parts instead of two rests. Is this possible?

If the lower note is voice 2 then you can delete the lower rest. Same if the upper note is voice 2.
Right click into the staff, staff properties, share matching rests
