Program freezes at launch when using multiple monitors
Hello,
I noticed a critical bug in the latest version of MuseScore (also crashes on the latest nightly build):
Steps to reproduce, directly after installation:
1) Have two monitors
2) Launch MuseScore
3) Drag the window on the second monitor
4) Exit the program
5) Launch it again
The program will not respond (stucked on the start logo), the only escape way is to kill the process.
To solve the problem, disable the second monitor then launch MuseScore so the window comes back on the main screen. Then you can enable the monitor again.
My config:
(I don't know if it would help)
- Intel Core i7-9700KF
- ASUS Rog Strix Z390-F
- 16GB RAM
- MSI Geforce GTX 970 4G
Monitors:
- Acer AL1916W (19 inches, the one that crashes the program)
- BenQ XL2430T (24 inches, the primary monitor that works)

Are you on Win10?
I also use a two-monitor setup, and have not had any problems. Did you have any issues before the latest update?

I use Windows 10, sorry.
I don't know if it is important, but my two monitors are of two different sizes and resolution (the main one is 1920x1080 and the second one is 1440x900).
This is the first version of MuseScore that I install on this computer, so I can't say if it is a new issue or not... Do you know where I can find the 3.2 version so I can test it ? I can only find MuseScore 2, 3.4 and the nightly builds.
I don't see the same issue here on my 3-monitor setup.
Dell Latitude 7480 internal monitor + a Dell external 24" monitor (don't know type, 1080p) over HDMI + an additional Acer monitor 21" (1600x1200) on DVI
Windows 10 x64
I don't see this with my 2 monitor setup, Windows 10 too
Re: Acer AL1916W (19 inches, the one that crashes the program)
Is a VGA connector used? Any other type available (DVI, HDMI)?

It is a VGA to DVI cable, as I don't have VGA available on my graphic card. Sadly, No other cable is possible.
I completely uninstalled and reinstalled MuseScore and now I don't have the bug anymore... weird, I could reproduce it each time. I dunno if there is a way to find the crash logs ?
