problem with lute/theorbo tablature (italian)
Version 3.3.4.9066
In the past, I was able to enter theorbo diapasons (basses) in Italian tablature. Suddenly, it doesn't work for me. I could have gotten something misconfigured.
When I type "N" (note mode) in an empty measure in the score below, the cursor highlights the bottom line of the tab for entry, but typing "1" enters a note in the top line! Moving the cursor towards the top line moves note entry towards a lower line (strange...).
Plus I can't seem to enter anything for courses 7 to 14.
Any ideas?

No, the problem is that with this bug, it is impossible to input the extra basses. You have to go back to a previous version if this is urgent for you.

That's incorrect. The bass notes are actually played, though they are open as you said, meaning without using the frets.

I don't know what you mean exactly. Concerning the first report, a PR has been merged (to be tried in a current Nightly, and available for the next 3.4 ).
If needed, and after testing the fix, please open a new thread.

Currently a PR is created. It will be merged in a next update I guess.

Better solution (trick) instead to download/go back to a previous version:
1) Right-click the TAB/ Staff Properties/ Advanced style properties/ Untick "Upside down"/ Ok, Ok
2) Enter the basses, so, under the staff, like this: theorbo_test_1.mscz
3) This done, tick again "Upside down" in Advanced style properties
Result: theorbo_test_2.mscz

Thanks! I don't have any urgent projects right now. I have some work to do in French tab, but that seems unaffected by this bug?

Indeed, and so, it's for why the "trick" mentioned above works.
