Adding Multiple Instruments to a staff
I am thinking of writing a percussion quartet but i would like to do so with only 4 staffs. I've tried editing the drumset but that hasn't worked for me so far.
For example, if I were to have a Snare Drum that switches to a Keyboard Percussion Instrument, like a marimba, how would I go about doing that?
I've done this when switching between Open and Muted Trumpet before, could it possibly work the same?
If there is trouble understanding the question, I can clarify a bit more?

MuseScore doesn't support switching between pitched (like Marimba) and unpitched (like snare drum) instruments in the same staff.

That's unfortunate. maybe I'll go throw that in the feature requests. it would come in handy for percussion quartets and just keeping the percussion staffs for any piece at a reasonable amount.
Enter your 2 or more different instruments, each on his stave, and use "Hidden empty staves" and place breaks, at the good place, the changement of instrument must be at the beginning of a line
