Playback not Working
In MuseScore, the playback function is not working at all. When I click "play", everything looks like it should, however the notes are not moving like they should. It seems like everything just freezes even though functionality is still there for everything else. I have checked everything and tried everything referenced in the forum on this site. I have reset the factory settings multiple times and have even uninstalled/reinstalled the application in an attempt to fix the issue.

Which version of MuseScore? In View > Synthesizer, check what's in the Fluid tab. Are there any soundfonts in there? Check the volume level there and in View > Mixer. In Edit > Preferences > I/O, check to see if PortAudio is checked. In that same window, you can click Restart Audio and MIDI devices to see if that fixes it.

It's the most up to date version. Fluid tab has the general soundfont provided by musescore. Volume levels are fine. PortAudio is checked and leads to the spekaersand I have restarted audio multiple times.

Next, check your system. Do you have enough memory, processor speed? Is your system running hot? Check for viruses?
