Stretch a measure
Hi everyone,
I was wondering... How do you stretch a measure so that the notes end up farther apart? I have a violin piece that is on one page, but I want to stretch it so that it is in two pages so that it is easier to read. :) If that makes any sense. LOL :)

Thanks! That first link is exactly what I needed.
FWIW, I recommend using breaks rather than stretch for this. Think of stretch as being a way of fine-tuning measure sizes, or forcing more measures per system than the default. But to spread things out, better to just add breaks (select measure & hit Enter) and let MuseScore spread things out for you.

Or to make everything larger rather than just wider go to Format->Page settings and increase stave space. I would recommend this as the better method of improving readability.

Still you may want to use explicit system breaks
