Multi export with different mixer volume settings

I frequently need to export scores multiple times with different mixer volume settings for every export. I would like to automate the tedious process.

This sounds kind of promising, but there seems to be no option to specify the volume for instruments or voices.

I also thought about writing a plugin, but couldn't find any useful information (even here) regarding the volume of instruments or voices. Does the API not support these kinds of changes?

Can anybody please point me in the right direction and tell me how I can achieve my goal?
