musehub background (idk if this is the right place to ask) (closed)

i got a new pc last week, and i downloaded musescore that day, and musehub. musescore 4.4.4, updated, normal.
since i downloaded musescore from scratch i had only MS basic sounds, i downloaded some, and im still downloading woodwinds and strings. i dont want to keep the pc running for hours (how the time left to download almost always increases) for the sounds to download. so, can musehub download while it is not opened? like if i close musehub and either close my pc or watch youtube, is the download still going?
