Saved file doesn't contain data
Created a Musescore file for a choral piece I'm trying to learn. Worked over several days and numerous hours. Saved it frequently using menu as well as [ctrl][S]. Closed Musescore to save memory while working on other programs, and now when I try to reopen it none of my work is in the score.
Any suggestions to get it reconstituted?

You have attached the backup copy ;-)

Those are the only files the program (and file explorer) found. I attached two files; if only one showed up, perhaps the "original" didn't get attached. There were two files with the same name; one was a fairly standard file name, the other had a period at the beginning and a comma at the end.
I've attached them both, again.

Rename the backup (as Shoichi has already done in his attachment).

Both files open, the one with leading dot and trailing comma after being renamed to loose (at least) the trailing comma
Super! Thanks for the advice. I didn't realize the file with the leading dot and trailing comma was a backup file. Renaming it got the original back. Thanks for your help.
I found it helpful to be familiar with the path to the folder where the scores are saved. Drop down the menu under MUSESCORE and open preferences. Under the GENERAL tab you will find a list of folders. Make a note of the path for your score. I like to get into the folder and make a copy of the file and save it in a separate folder from main hard drive like my backup drive or a thumb drive.

Actually all that is simply default location. MuseScore will happily save any file anywhere you want.
