All the 8th notes I insert into my score playback in long-short pairs. How do I set it to playback like normal 8th notes?

disable swing playback
If you don't remember turning it on manually in Format / Style / Score, maybe you added the "swing" text from the palette then edited it for some other purpose. You'll need to figure out where, and replace it with an ordinary text instead (eg, staff text or system text). If you need further assistance, please attach your score.
