Playback loop on whole score causes a tempo skip on repeat
Hi everybody, and first of all thanks for this awesome software!
I am a new user of MuseScore, and, for the moment, I mainly use it to play along while I am learning bass. I know that this is not the main purpose of MS, as it is designed for music notation, but it does the job quite well, and I don't know other free alternatives that are as complete as MS.
However, I encountered a little issue when I use the playback loop on the whole score: when the playback arrives at the end and it goes back at the beginning to repeat the loop, there is a tempo skip, which is annoying and makes playing along very difficult.
I attach a score as an example: loop_1.mscz
If you open it, select the loop playback option and just press play, you will see (and hear!) what I mean.
However, a simple fix to this problem, is to add an empty bar at the end: loop_2.mscz
In this second example, if you select only the first 4 bars, turn on loop playback and press play, then there's no skip. Actually, this is what I have done so far to avoid the problem.
I don't know if this is intentional, but for the purpose I use MS for, this is a bit annoying and feels like a bug. I would expect the two examples I posted to sound the same.
Again, thank you very much and keep up the incredible work!

Yep, it is the first one! I did some research on the forum, but I missed it, sorry.
So what's the current status? I can see that on github there's a "fix", does it mean I can implement it in some way?

A proposed code change is pending to get merged. Once it is, it'd be in the next development builds and subsequently in the next release

Awesome, thank you.
