Mid staff sound changes

I'm writing a piece for voices and there is one section where I want breath sounds rather than pitched voices. Is there some way to change the playback sound for a few measures to be unpitched breath rather than voices? I know there is a breath sounds option in the mixer, but I don't want it to playback like that for the whole piece.
