Google translate:
When writing any score and trying to Save the project in any format, you don't allow it. When it comes to saving the project or score, a dialog appears that says "Open", making it practically impossible to save, and therefore makes the program completely useless.

Hmm, translation doesn't seem to make much sense to to me...

Maybe you could try to change the setting of Edit > Preferences > Advanced > ui/application/useNativeDialogs

"When writing any score and trying to Save the project in any format, you don't allow it. When it comes to saving the project or score, a dialog appears that says "Open", making it practically impossible to save, and therefore makes the program completely useless."

I think he/she meant this: "When writing any score and trying to save the project in any format (.mscx and .mscz), the software doesn't allow it. When it comes to saving a project or score, a dialogue appears that says "Open" (this part means that instead of a save button, there is an open button), making it practically impossible to save, and therefore makes the program completely useless."

The translation makes sense to me, but the facts don't - I've never seen this happen or heard of it. Makes me wonder if the user has somehow redefined their shortcuts so Ctrl+S is actually doing an open command rather than a save.

BTW, are the people seeing this all using a version of MuseScore built by someone other than us - like something from the Mint repositories, or Snap or something like that? The AppImage you can download from this site is the only version we control ourselves. Is the problem producible using that?
