In most cases, you replace it with sound, just enter a note and it goes away. Or, it could be that are trying to use multiple voices but made the mistake of skipping voice 1 - don't do that. Or you might have tried using Insert mode for music that actually didn't need it - the measure already had the proper number of beats. The solution there is don't use insert mode.
