how to make an "arrow" line
Helo forum,
I am struggling to create a custom line that has an arrow spear as "hook". Before, in musescore 2, I believe I would add "end text" and then copy the arrow head from custom symbols in master palette. it seems now its impossible to do this. So how do I create a very "standard" line type commonly used in music from the XX and XXI century (attached picture).
I have tried typing characters in "bravura" font, but no luck. I have run out of ideas, I need some help
ideas??
thanks

Unfortunately, if it has not changed, the line accepts the diagonal (via Inspector) but the arrowhead will not follow it. You can save an image and insert it.

Edit: A slur, disabling automatic placement
Actually, while it might not be possibly to copy directly from Special Characters, you can add an arrow from there to your score (within a piece of staff text or whatever) then copy it from there and paste to the Inspector. Works fine, but you might need to apply a slight Y offset adjusted to get it to line up.

Nice trick!
By the way, I see that Start Text and End Text are poorly translated in italian.
I would suggest something like "Testo iniziale" e "testo finale". Now it's totally misleading
By the way 2: we definitely need a nice, editable arrow line (or at least a line that allows users to change it's end with a symbol)

And "Testo continua"?
I took the freedom to make those changes, should be available for updating translations on some 30 minutes

I can't think of anything better than "Testo prolungamento". It sounds horrible, it's not the finest italian, but it's short and self-explaining (especially with the updated translation of start text and end text)

To the left (of the viewer), what I see before I update the translations;
On the right after updating translations from the Help menu.
For my habit, I prefer to compare myself on the scarcely frequented Italian forum dedicated to translations: https://musescore.org/it/node/318357
I will wait for any suggestions and then update accordingly.

A, the text that will appear at the beginning of the line;
B, the text that will appear at the beginning of the line in the next stave after a break;
C, the text that will appear at the end of the line.
Are the concepts correct?
In the case of B it could be Testo a capo (i.e. after ↵)
