Dynamics glyphs not found (replaced by ?)
In my latest build (OS: Arch Linux, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0, revision: 4013ef9), the dynamics in the palette are not visible but replaced by question marks (see attached image). The same goes for dynamics entered into the score, whereas dynamics that have been entered previously are shown.

It seems to be a problem related to installed (or not) fonts or may be #298471: Fret diagram: strings with no X or O display as ? on Linux

I very much doubt the latter to be related
The development builds are in a state of flux right now, I wouldn't expect anything to work normally. But if you do want to participate in the development process, best to join the MuseScore developer channel on Telegram. See the the development page under the Contribute menu, above.
