Fingering palette
If one clicks more on this palette it seems as if one might create an extra fingering but the option isn't available. I am scoring a guitar staff and wanted to add a fingering for a barre chord eg BIV or such - doesn't seem there's a way I can add custom terms - is that correct ?

But also, yes, certainly you can add elements to the palette, just create one in the score the way you like then Cltr+Shift+drag it to the palette. See the Handbook for more info on custom palettes.
