Hello,
i tried MS 3.5.0RC OS: Linux Mint 20, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.0, revision: fb3c202 Qt 5.9.8
and found if i export to pdf, the treble clefs are cut at the very top.
I mean, having seen this mistake before...
Greetings, Pentatonus

This PDF looks fine to me. Maybe an issue with your PDF reader?

I knew I had seen something like this before. It was here: https://musescore.org/en/node/300603 where the problem seemed to be narrowed down to the use of one or more particular Linux pdf readers (Ubuntu and Mint are mentioned.)
Thanks for the comments and tips, I have now solved the problem by installing another pdf-viewer.
hello hello
i have the same problem. treble clefs are cutted when using musescore 3. and emmentaler.font. when using musescore 2.3 print to pdf (file) works fine. so it seems to be a bug in musescore 3.
OS: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.2.3+dfsg1-4build1 (Ubuntu focal/amd64), MuseScore build number not set, revision: d2d863f

From previous reports it seems to be a problem with particular pdf readers and particular Linux distributions. See the earlier posts.
Which reader are you using? Have you tried others?

as i said, when using musescore 2.3 on the same system, anything is fine. also when using bravura in musesscore 3.

And as others have said here, it seems to be a problem with certain pdf readers. Which reader are you using and which other readers have you tried? If it is not a consistent problem with all readers (which it seems not be), perhaps the bug lies in the readers that are demonstrating the problem.

thanks, i check it out later. at the moment i have only one pdf-reader here installed.
Gladly, this issue has been solved by MuseScore 3.6 beta. Thank you!

Although I don't recall and relevant change that might have caused this

It was reported earlier (https://musescore.org/en/node/308004#comment-1013432) to be fixed by using a different pdf reader, so probably not a MuseScore problem at all.

Made an example yesterday (exported score to pdfs and viewed them with ONE AND THE SAME pdf-viewer):
Made with MS 3.5.2 -> error occures
Made with MS 3.6 b -> no error

So it got fixed by accident it seems ;-)

Possibly using the old vs the new musical font; thus different character definitions.

If the working one indeed is Leland and not Emmentaler
