Playback of only one instrument at a time. (Musescore 3)

I am currently composing a march and I was wondering if it was possible if I could only playback the sound of one instrument. I have looked on other forums and found that muting instruments on the mixer will work, however, I am having trouble with that approach. Is there any other possible way to hear the playback of just one instrument?
