Adding a minim at the start of a set of quavers

Hi, can anyone please help.
Does anyone know how to add a minim to the start of a set of quavers as shown in attached. The timing is C. I am not very music, or musescore savvy, and I don't know much about terminology. Thanks.

If you are new to MuseScore, I recommend that you read or skim through the handbook at least once. There is a lot there and you will not remember exactly how to do everything, but at least you should get an idea of the many things that MuseScore can do.
