Catalan translation

Hello friends

I'm a music and software developer from Catalonia (Spain) and i make the MuseScore translation in catalan language. The translation files were atttached to this post but i have some questions.

First, how can i add the new language to the application? It's there an authomatic method to do this? You pick the file and include it in a new version?

Second, i make a translation of the QT Runtime strings in catalan language too, because i can't find it anywhere. Is this necessary? In these case, will include this file too in the new version?

Third, how about the instruments lists? Can i translate them and will be included too?

Hi Carles,

Your translation has been added in the repository by lasconic and will be available in the next prerelease. Follow twitter or facebook in order to get notified when it will be out. Obviously, you can always try to build MuseScore yourself.
Lasconic will be looking into the QT question and I guess he will answer on that matter later.

Indeed I commited mscore_ca.ts and made the changes to be able to select it in the preferences panel.
Regarding the Qt Translation, I'm not sure yet what the best practise is. Of course I could commit the qm file. But I'm not sure if it's good.

Regarding instruments.xml, you can of course translate it.
If you can to translate the website too, I'm pretty syre Thomas will be happy to open the catalan frontpage.
