If you want to raise all of the notes an octave, select all of the measures in a staff and press ctrl+up arrow. If these aren't what you're looking for you need to explain better what you are doing, like arranging a trumpet score for the flute or a similar explanation.
Perhaps you might want to use one of the 8va clefs?
