Playback plays from wrong measure
Hi MuseScore community,
When I select a note, and I hit SPACE, my playback does not start at the note which I selected. Any ideas why it might be happening?

If you remove the Volta it plays from that point. But, I saved the file and then opened it in 3.5.1 and it works fine. I see your file is labelled as having been created in 3.5.2 so this might be a bug.

Any reason to put a section break here in measure 27 ?
Replace by a system break, and it seems fixed: 1Romance_de_Amor_for_Guitar_Tabei_version.mscz
I don't call back at the moment if it has already been noticed or not.

All the other notes not under the 2Volta play back fine, though, with or without a system break.
The section break between two voltas is confusing MuseScore. If you play from in or before the volta 1, it starts in the correct spot. If you start between the section breaks (m27 & 47) MuseScore gets confused because it never plays mm28-32 a second time so it is always skipped. The open volta extends this to somewhere just before m47. When it plays past volta 1, it jumps into the 10 measure rest and I didn't count the beats or notice the measure where it jumped. Sections breaks are treated like the end of a score for jumps and repeats in most situations. Voltas is one of those situation. In your case, at the start of a new score (after the section break) you have a volta 2 which is only played the second time. There are no repeats to make this happen. Use system breaks rather than section breaks and you will get the results you expect.
