I have an issue with the tempo slider, and with one score only, but I don't know how to describe it.
Change the tempo slider while you're playing the score.

Aside: didn't try doing so with the attached file, but I remember an earlier version of MS, not too long ago, maybe 3.4.2 or even 3.5 seemed to have nice smooth tempo changes while varying the percentage tempo slider, and lately (3.x) I've been getting much more jagged/jumpy response compared to how it was, so in a sense this might be considered a regression if what I'm mentioning is in relation to the OP
The jumpy responses happen when the repeated notes are played the second time, and after the repeat. This doesn't happen if you disable Play Repeats from the top bar, since the repeats would have not been played.
I went to find the earliest version this bug occured.
So a regression vs. 2.x?
It also occurs way back in 2.x
But not in 1.x
So a regression vs. 1.x
Can you reproduce this

(Had to use YouTube, file attachments don't work)
I found this issue from 7 years ago
https://musescore.org/en/node/35876
I don't think that #35876: tempo change via play panel causes delay or jump at repeat is related here
Aside: Why dwell upon this when there's no development for 3.x? Is this reproducible in 4.x nightlies?
@worldwideweary I don't know, I can't find the Play Panel in 4.x
@Jojo-Schmitz It may very well be
That issue was fixed in 2.0, and this issue first occurs in 2.0
