Arrows Between Syllables
As outlined in Gould p. 453, arrows are sometimes required instead of dashes or extenders. It would be nice to have this as a feature, it's currently very difficult to do. Ideally this would use the same system as the extenders, filling space between notes as required, but ending with an arrowhead tip.
I've uploaded my attempt using a line element and arrow symbol. Hope this is clear and apologies if it's already a feature.
IPA symbols in Leland would be cool too!

Short arrows are possible as lyrics text, from the F2 palette, Unicode, Arrows

thanks, long ones would be lovely though!
Pretty sure there is pretty full set of IPA symbols in the Special Characters dialog as well, although perhaps not in Leland or Edwin - more likely in FreeSerif.

you're quite right, it's a shame they don't match ... i was really enjoying Edwin!
