How to change single staff to dual?
Hi, noob here, so pardon my ignorance. I'm playing with MS, and I imported a MIDI piano track from Reaper. However, it comes in as a single staff with bass and treble clefs alternating on one staff. How do I convert it to dual Treble/Bass suitable for Piano? I tried creating a new project but couldn't figure out how to import the midi into it.

Thanks for the response. I've done it. However, I now have 3 staffs (two treble one bass) with all the notes on the top treble. When I switch off that staff, the notes go with it. How do I move them to the dual staff, or re-paste to that staff?
Edit: OK got is to past, but it's still not using the bass clef.

Consider that importing a MIDI often takes longer to correct than entering notes directly.

Thanks. It was suggested that I use MusicXML instead of .mid as the file type. I'll try that.
