Modifying staff and pitch for unpitched percussion instruments
Hi,
I am trying to compose a piece for temple blocks but i am having some notation issues. I know that there are more than 2 possible pitch options for temple blocks. However, the software is not letting me input more than the 2 preset pitches (A and B). Is there a way to modify this and add more pitch options? If not, that is something that should be modified for future updates.

See the Handbook under "Drum notation" to learn how to customize the different notes that can be displayed and what MIDI pitch they correspond to. The General MIDI standard only calls for two woodblock sounds (hi and lo), but probably there exist specialty soundfonts you could install that contain more. See the Soundfonts section of the Handbook for more info on that.
