2.0 saving problems
I spent quite a bit of time formatting a score. When I saved, the formatting was fine (as you can see in "problembefore"). After closing the file and opening it, or even just opening it again without closing, 2.0 ignores what I had done previously ("problemafter"). This had never occurred in 1.3.
Is this is a matter of stability, or is it a fixable bug?

Can you provide the mscz file?
If this is using cross-staff beaming, then yes, it's a known bug, already fixed in the latest nightly builds.

When will the change be made to the Beta?

There is no timetable on that. Probably not any time terribly soon though - like I wouldn't be expecting anything with the next couple of days or even weeks. If you want the latest fixes, you can install a nightly build, but the Beta releases are meant to be more infrequent / stable.
