Screen Magnification
What is going on here? It appears that the work space is magnified significantly! Its definitely un-useable like this. Please help.

This happens your operating system is not reporting the display resolution correctly, or at least in a way we are understanding correctly. Typically this happens when using a non-standard display like a TV set connected via VGA or some such. Solutions including starting MuseScore from the command line with "-D xxx" (where "xxx" is the actual display resolution in DPI), and/or setting the environment variable QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1. If you're not familiar with starting programs from the command line or setting environment variables, you can do a web search for those topic, combined with the name of your OS (eg, Windows 10, macOS, Ubuntu, etc).

Thanks for the reply. I am using a 27" Imac and I have a HDMI going out to a television. I am not using the TV - it is not even on - but could that be the problem? I guess I could unplug and find out for myself! If that does not work, I will try your suggestion.
