Inaccurate metronome
When I set the temp to for example 142 beats in 4/4 it actually counts about 154 beats. So the metronome is going too fast. And this goes for all tempo settings. I use a Mac computer. Anybody knows why?

There are only 4 beats in a 4/4 ?!?
Or are you talking about a tempo text "[quarter note] = 142"? If so, is the play pannel set to 100%?
Something similar had come up a couple weeks ago, back then I tried and compared with 2 different external metronomes, an electronic and a mechanical one, both agreed with MuseScore's.

I just checked again. The tempo is set to 142 beats per minute, but it actually is 156 (measured with digital metronome (Tempo app on iPhone). The play panel is set to 100%

Hmm, the 80 BPM part is exact. The 142 BPM with Shuffle rhythm is not it seems?

I testet the 80 BPM again. On my metronome it goes 87/88 BPM, so it seems to a problem in the hole score.

For me, both are completely accurate - 80 BPM at the start, 142 beginning at measure 9.
Maybe your computer's clock speed is off? Or your audio hardware and driver is somehow mismatched between 44.1 and 48 Khz sampling? Or your metronome is off for similar reasons.

The metronome is now working accurate after I opened som older scores. I don't know why. Thanks for answering to all.
