Publish MuseScore with classic confinement?
MuseScore is great for automated processing of music because its file format is open and file conversions are possible on the command line. This sets it apart from Sibelius, Finale or Dorico.
On Linux, data processing (at least for me) very often includes creating temporary files and directories using mkdir, however those directories can not be accessed by MuseScore if it is installed via snap because it's strictly confined. Would it be possible to publish it with classic confinement so that the user can optionally give it access to those directories by installing with --classic?

Use the AppImage then, only this is supported here on musescore.org, the Snap version comes from a different place

What strikes me as odd, though: On snapcraft.io, MuseScore is published by a verified account named "MuseScore". If somebody else was able to create an account in the name of MuseScore and get it verified in spite of being an unofficial distributor, shouldn't MuseScore intervene?
