change resolution on the screen display

I just used musescore software to wright some song. But the display of the icons in the Tool Bar below the user menu is too small to see. I use my Smart TV as a computer monitor. I wonder if I need to change the screen resolution to a specific numbers for it to work property.

Any suggestions are welcome.
