Scores created on Win10 don't show in Linux file system
I have a multiboot machine with one ssd containing a Windows 10 install. On a separate ssd there is a partition with Linux Mint and an ntfs partition with data shared between both OSs.
If I save a musescore file on windows, the folder I save it to will not contain it in linux. The MS version on both OSs is 3.6.2
Files shared by other Programs (e.g. Audacity, LibreOffice) don't have this issue, so I think the reason might be MS rather than the OSs.
Is there anything I can do about this? If so, please tell me, for I'd like to work with MS under Linux, and not have to reboot into Win all the time.

Mint: MuseScore->Preferences/General can you trace the path to the scores folder?

In mint it is set to the default ~/Documents/MuseScore3/Scores
I can reach the folder Win10 uses via Pref/General, but it appears empty when accessing it in MS as well.
My knowledge of Linux is limited, but:
Are you able from Linux to see the files when you use the file explorer of your desktop system ?
If so can you open MuseScore from there ? By a kind of "open with" or drag and drop to the opened MuseScore ?
If you store your MuseScore files in that ntfs partition with data shared between both OSs you certainly can access them via MuseScore in either OS. You'd just need to use the File > Open dialog to navigate to that location. The files' content certainly is compatible between alll supported OSs

What you can test to exclude any issue with your file system is from Windows save 1 of your MuseScore file into the folder you use for Audacity or libreoffice (as that folder is certainly succesfully shared according to your post) and from linux open the MuseScore file from there, and see if that makes any difference

That worked. So it's probably not an issue of the file system. It's still a bit inconvenient as I can't just use one standard folder for both OSs with MuseScore. - At least I assume the bug lies somewhere in there, that I have set the MuseScore Folder on the shared ntfs partition as the standard folder for the MS install on Windows.

It is not inconvenient, but unavoidable, as each OS has different means for setting the home directory of users.
You can still change the standard folder of either MuseScore instance to point to that common directory though, deviate from the factory defaults.
