Dear developers, please activate the original Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins keyboard shortcuts!

Perhaps only the oldest computer scientists may remember that but, far before the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V existed, IBM designed the Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins to do the same thing. (By the way, it is interesting to note that technically speaking, the use of these shortcuts is more comfortable as you use both hands to construct them, which is ergonimically quicker and more efficient).

Nowdays, all the existing applications I know honor this features... except Musescore, and this is very frustrating for people who never use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V but keep on using the original Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins

Therefore could it be possible to natively implement these two extra shortcuts in future versions of Musescore? Indeed, I could not find any turnaround because, even if the Ctrl+Ins can be user customized as an additionnal shortcut, the Shift+Ins on the other hand cannot be distinguished from the Ins

Thanks for your attention

I can't think of anything more confusing! After decades of Ctrl (Cmd for me, Mac) it's second nature to most folk I'd have thought - the fact that it is possible with one hand, two digits in fact makes it extremely easy. Not sure why you'd think using two hands is more comfortable or ergonomic? I use one hand on the computer keyboard wherever possible - as the other may well be playing a music keyboard, adjusting a mixer, or drinking a cup of tea...

Still, each to his own and no offence meant!
