Plug-ins question

• Jun 24, 2021 - 22:31

As I am learning Musescore, I find its capabilities astounding. I wonder if there are "DAW like" plugins which integrate with Musescore?

Example:
During playback can the plug-in vary tempo in some measures for expressive rubato, volume variation, etc. etc.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Generally speaking, there are already built-in features like hairpins, dynamics, and tempo markings:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/hairpins
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/dynamics
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tempo
Also, score markings like fermata, breath mark, caesura, and others have adjustable time properties for playback.

There also are plugins which add particular features:

for accelerando / ritardando
Also:

for phrasing
