Part not transposing
I was wondering if anyone can figure out what going on with this score. Everything is fine except for the Horn part. In the full score view, the Horn is written correctly (transposed). But in the part view, the notes are completely different even though the key signature is correctly transposed. If I change any of the notes in the part view, it changes them in the score view. All I want is for the Horn part view to show the same notes as the full score view. None of the other instruments have that problem, and I don't recall setting up the Horn part any differently than the other instruments.

Try this.
The Horn in F part lost its transposition settings, so I generated it afreash

The horn is way too high now, but at least the part matches the full score, so thank you for that. How did you "generate it afresh"? I couldn't find a way to do that. Every time I did, the score view and part view would both transpose, but maintain their own separate notes.

File > Parts > Single part
But I applied the 3*# key signature to the entrire score again too (adds 4*# to the Horns)

I went to the Parts (thanks for showing me where that was), deleted the horn, added a new blank part and then assigned the horn to it. That worked!
