does not work in my current version (3.6.2.548021803)
It has worked some time ago though ...
I change the channels in the staff text properties to pizzicato and click ok but the sound stays the same.
When I reopen the Property dialog i find that the channels are set back to arco.

I applied it and there was no problem.
Are you sure you pressed the OK button?

Yes, I tried several times, closed the application and started it again. Do you think a reboot of the laptop would help?
Which voices did you select? Can you describe more precisely exactly what you are clicking in the dialog?
Note to myself (and everyone who has the same problem): Voice (1-4) must be selected - Stimme anwählen!
