Negating dynamics
I am having trouble making dynamics ineffective while making the dynamics I actually want to play invisible. I want it written with the obsolete dynamic, but make the one I actually want to use invisible. Is there any way I can negate the effect of a dynamic?

I tried that but it keeps resetting to the default velocity. When I click out of the editor, it just goes back to normal, I can't change the velocity

Are you perchance using a very old version of MuseScore, and double rather than single-clicking the dynamic? I recall such a bug being fixed a year or two ago.

Ok. I instead set the dynamic to staff, and altered the Velocity change below velocity to 0, so it has no effect
