Turning on the metronome in 2.3
Hi all,
Does Version 2.3 have a metronome? If so, where is it and how do you turn it on? I really like 2.3 and haven't updated to the recent version, which I assume is 3.0. Thanks

Yes, it does, and it is at the same place as in 3.x. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/2/play-mode#metronome-playback

If you liked 2.3, you'll love the current version 3.6.2, which produces much better results with much less effort! You can install them side-by-side, so no harm in doing so and playing with it. If you've got a lot of scores that you needed to manually adjust to look good in older versions, probably best to leave them in that version as the enormous improvements in the defaults mean you manual adjustments may now be counterproductive. but for new scores, you'll save literally hours of time.

Great, thanks Marc! I fellow jazz musician friend is using the newest version and just loves it. I shall look into it too. This program has been absolutely stellar.
Jojo, let's settle out of court 🤣.
