Uniform Stem Length
Hello there,
I don't think this feature exists, or can be "fixed" with the current style settings. it's one of the things I'm hoping could be added. Right now, I have to write out the score, then go to each stem/beam and lengthen each one so that they're even. I am using the Berger Monolinear Notation System (used for Swiss/Scottish Drumming), and having all the stems the same length (regardless of the presence of a beam), would be a fabulous addition. With the Berger Monolinear Notation System, the stem length looks a lot better when they're all the same length, so it's a lot of work to go through and edit each stem/beam.

The beaming algorithm is undergoing some major changes for MuseScore 4 and it's possible this won't be necessary anymore - not really sure how it will ll play out. But you might want to try downloading a nightly build to test (nowhere near ready for real use, please only use it only copies of scores you care about) to see how things are shaping. I'm not sure how much of the current work is actually in place yet.
