Open the attached file. See mm 4 and 12, for example. it seems that note beams customized in 3.6.2 (and before) are being reset.

I also have a similar experience. I was able to straighten out my beams in a project (see attached) and unfortunately musescore4 does not draw the beams as I had them (see attached)
Regarding the original post, I believe this is probably by design. That's because the default beaming has changed pretty drastically, so the old manual adjustments are no longer meaningful. They'd look wrong when applied to the new defaults. The new defaults should be significantly better, though, so ideally, those manual adjustments would no longer be needed anyhow.
Regarding the first comment, this seems to be a totally different issue, a case of a beam either appearing or not appearing, not anything about manual adjustments. Best to create a separate issue, and be sure to attach the actual score rather than just pictures.
