musescore crash report
I opened Musescore on January 27, 2021 on my windows 10 computer. Right away Musescore crashed. After the crash a dialog box appeared on my screen offering to report the crash to Musescore. I wrote in the dialog box what I was doing before the crash and clicked a SEND button. After that when I opened Musescore I saw the top part of Musescore : Edit View Add Format etc at the bottom of my computer screen. Dragging the Musescore page up my screen didn't work. I uninstalled Musescore app and installed it again. Same problem happened - Musescore page was at the bottom of computer screen. I have the following questions:
1) Does Musescore ask the users to report the problems using dialog box? If not my computer was hacked.
2) Has anybody else reported the same problem?
3) How to fix my problem?

Can you access the 'Maximize' widow button (between 'Minimize' and 'Close') located on the upper right of the (partial) MuseScore display?

3) Revert to factory settings
Mine kept crashing, worked for a day, now is crashing again. I tried the factory reset, it did not fix it.

Try starting MuseScore by double-clicking an existing score file.
If that works, disable Startcenter in Edit > Preferences

I followed your advice and it worked. Thank you very much for your help. Now I don't need to click on 'Maximize' button every time I open Musescore.
Does it work on the off chance that you press Esc, or snap the "Don't send" button? Conceivable what you are seeing isn't an accident however the exchange inquiring as to whether wish to empower a discretionary component to send telemetry information.
