Change stave breaks setting
Get out of the dialog
Go back in to see the change was not remembered
Breaked are not occuring as demanded by the instruction

Are you referring to Format / Add/Remove System Breaks? Are you hitting OK to close the dialog? It works fine for me. But if you have a score where it doesn't work, please post that score along with the precise steps to reproduce the issue.
